RK Consulting Limited ("RK Consulting", "we", "us") is a New Zealand company based in Auckland (NZBN 9429049253061). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect through www.rkconsulting.co.nz and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, organisation (optional), the service you're interested in (optional) and your message. When you email or call us directly, we receive the details you choose to share.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss or deliver our services.
- To keep records of our business communications.
- To understand which pages and sources are useful, so we can improve the website.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your consent.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website and manage enquiries, and some of them store information outside New Zealand. These providers, for example Google, handle information under their own privacy and security commitments. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to New Zealand's privacy law. We will only otherwise disclose personal information where the law requires or allows it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond, to provide our services, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics data retention settings and is then deleted automatically.
Cookies
The only cookies this website sets are Google Analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without them.
Keeping it secure
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. To make a request, email info@rkconsulting.co.nz. We will respond as soon as we can, and within 20 working days.
If you're not satisfied with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
